Turmeric fried rice

Preparation Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan and fry cumin seeds. Add onions and saute till brown. Add coriander powder, garam masala and turmeric paste.

  2. Add rice. Turn well till rice is coloured and heated through.

  3. Garnish with coriander and serve.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked rice, day old preferred 
  • 2 tbsp turmeric paste
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • ¼ tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • Coriander to garnish
